This world is an alternate Britain whose expansionist policies are fueled by darkness and degredation, and empowered by sorcery in chivalrous times. Dorian Hawkmoon is another aspect of Michael Moorcock’s Eternal Champion character, a single hero destined to decide the fate of his world.
